1. Anthropic’s Opus 4.6 leads GPT-5.3-Codex on agentic benchmarks as OpenAI touts speed
Opus 4.6 is designed to analyze documents and generate detailed financial analyses.
GPT-5.3-Codex is 25% faster than GPT-5.2 and enables longer-running tasks, OpenAI said.
It is “our first model that was instrumental in creating itself,” OpenAI added.
Opus 4.6 identified 500+ high-severity security flaws in open-source libraries, which were previously unknown with little to no prompting, Anthropic said.
Opus 4.6 supports a 1M-token context window in beta.
Anthropic has also introduced “agent teams” in Claude Code to launch multiple agents that work simultaneously.

3. Novo Nordisk stock -8% as Hims launches cheaper Wegovy pill knockoff
Novo shares are on track for their worst week since Aug.:
Hims -4% on Thu. and -7% in pre-market.

Novo’s Wegovy pill starts at $149/month.
