5. OpenAI agent gained unauthorized access to Australiaās Medicare portal, PM Albanese says
Jun. 18: the Medicare website was breached, but OpenAI did not inform the government until Sep. 10, Albanese said.

7. Anthropic says Claude autonomously discovered new CRISPR-like enzyme system
Claude spotted a previously unnoticed CRISPR-like repeat pattern while analyzing raw DNA:
It took ~950 Claude agents 21 hours and 210M tokens to uncover the ānovel enzyme system,ā Anthropic said.
Anthropic is still working to understand what the system does, and itās the first result from its wet lab.
Its practical applications remain unclear.
