3. OpenAI data-center partners said to near $100B debt, eye $38B in new loans
SoftBank, Oracle, and CoreWeave have reportedly borrowed at least $30B to invest in OpenAI or to help set up its data centers.
Blue Owl Capital and infra firms including Crusoe rely on OpenAI-linked deals to support ~$28B in loans.
OpenAI plans to raise debt for these contracts, its execs said, but the financial load has so far fallen on partners and their lenders.
