3. Anthropic says Claude Code source code leaked due to human error, no breach
Claude Code source code appeared on GitHub due to a leak:
Anthropic accidentally leaked part of the internal source code for Claude Code.
āNo sensitive customer data or credentials were exposed,ā an Anthropic spokesperson said.
The leak was caused by a packaging issue, the company said.
The exposure could give competitors insight into how the coding tool was built.
āWeāre rolling out measures to prevent this from happening again,ā Anthropic said.
